My role:

Our client (Nosyd) believes that the smart home devices will be a great market after the pandemic. Based their marketing research, they hopes we can deliver a user interface for their Pet Sitter Robot that can meet their potential users’ needs. The Pawpat is a pet sitter application designed for pet owners who want to take care with their pets remotely. Pawpat focuses on increasing the interaction between pet owners and their pets, and providing mental health information by monitoring activities. Pawpat not only aims to facilitate interactions but also build social connections among pet owners, by recording their pets and sharing short-time videos with communities.

Ideations (from sketches to wireframes)

Before starting to move on the high-fidelity prototype, our group reviewed the background research and the results of online ethnology to ensure that our design concept meet the users' needs. We also summarized the key takeaways from client meeting. We refined the chosen style guide and concept based on their feedback.

After redefining the new colour style, we created high-fidelity mockups and iterated on each of these mockups. At the second client meeting, the client was pleased with the design solution we presented. Finally, we have refined the design solution's interfaces and components to make the aesthetics of the interface more consistent and the user experience smoother.
